Vintage 1980s Briggs & Stratton 148cc 3.5HP Vertical Shaft Engine 92902-3912-01

Came off of a 1980s Snapper self propelled lawn mower (model number 21351P). This engine started sometimes but would stall after a few seconds.

Because of this, my guess is that it will need a thorough carburetor cleaning/rebuild, or a new carburetor. Please note that those are just guesses and I make no guarantees what it will need to run properly.

It will also need a new carburetor diaphragm as the one that was on it broke when I tried taking the carburetor off of the fuel tank. It could also use a new spark plug. It has a new air filter. All oil and gasoline has been drained from the engine.

The engine has some cosmetic blemishes that can be seen in photos rust, dirt, etc. And thus can use some cleaning. Please refer to all pictures.
