Running Briggs Stratton 5hp Engine Mini Bike Go Kart 130292 dual twin shaft pto

Near impossible to find dual shaft/PTO Briggs horizontal engine. The second shaft spins at half speed and in the opposite direction.

It was generally used as reverse on tillers and other machines. Completely Serviced and runs great. Carb fully dismantled and cleaned w/new diaphragm.

Recoil engagement balls cleaned properly lubed. Points Condenser cleaned properly gapped. Gas tank flushed(never had any rust). Valves checked and new cover gasket.

Starts right up with no smoke or hesitation. Runs full 3600rpm without issue and will idle down to below 1000rpm without issue as well. No knocking or any other noise. Looking at shaft side spins CCW. 1/2 reverse rotation PTO 1800rpm. Looking at shaft side spins CW. This came off a Unico(MTD) front tine tiller. The tiller stripped a brass gear and had been sitting since the 80's. Home owner tillers generally have very low hours and are great candidates for engine salvage. I pulled the motor and cleaned out 1/8 layer of gas that had turned to black tar of the bottom of the gas tank.

The only thing it needs before returning to full time service is a new foam air filter as the current one is crumbling(didn't have one in stock at the moment).
