John Deere 285 Complete Engine Kawasaki FD590V 18HP Vertical Shaft

For sale - One complete engine removed from a running John Deere 285 with 1582.3 hours on a working meter. Engine starts easily and runs great. Engine does not make unusual noise or smoke under load.

Engine has 180 psi compression on LH cylinder and 195 PSI on RH cylinder. Carburetor is included - has good throttle response and good power under load. Muffler is not included as pictured. CDI / Ignition box is not included as pictured. PTO shaft measures 1 and 1/8" in diameter and approximately 3 and 1/8 " in length.
